Mission Statement
Techucate is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing enriching technological education to underserved children aged 7-17. Our core mission is to cultivate awareness, curiosity, and competence in the realm of technology, empowering our students with knowledge that opens the door to future opportunities.

We specialize in providing hands-on programming lessons in Python, JavaScript, and block code, utilizing the Scratch platform, fostering both computational thinking and creativity. But our curriculum goes beyond just programming; we introduce our students to the exciting world of IoT. Through projects involving Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and Micro:bit, we explore how the tangible and digital worlds connect and interact.

Understanding that hardware is as vital as software in technology education, we provide lessons on circuits and soldering, empowering students to comprehend and manipulate the building blocks of electronic devices. By emphasizing these practical skills, we inspire our young learners to explore, create, and innovate on their own.
Moreover, we offer instruction in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), a key skill in the modern design and manufacturing world. Our plan to introduce 3D printing to our curriculum aims to further equip our students with cutting-edge technological skills, instilling in them a sense of confidence and excitement about their potential roles in the tech-driven world of tomorrow.

At Techucate, we strive to inspire curiosity, facilitate understanding, and most importantly, empower underserved children with the technological skills they need to flourish in an increasingly digital future.
